Congrats!!! You brought home your new bestie and you’re just SO busy with buying toys, vet visits, researching food, potty training, ALL.THE.THINGS…

Weeks, months, sometimes even years slip by before you think to do their first nail trim. Eeeeeeek! When you finally do try to trim their nails they have no clue what's going on. You’re scared to death because you don’t know how far to clip. You can’t hold them still (and your spouse won’t help because they don’t want to be responsible for that kind of potential doom)! Your precious baby is scared out of their mind!

Poor baby is traumatized and mad at you!

You just know they are never going to forgive you.

Did you know, it’s actually never too early to get started with nail trims for your pet. We recommend starting a regular nail trimming schedule AS SOON AS you bring your new pet home. Starting the process of clipping nails early in life and regularly will guarantee that they will-

• Learn to enjoy the process, instead of dreading it.

• never have quicks (cuticles) that are grown out too far

• not develop deformed, painful feet due to failure to clip.

Don’t fret if you’ve waited, because it’s actually never too late to get started either. Even if your baby is not-so-much a baby, we can get them started on a nail clipping routine to make them more comfortable.
